Global Learning Opportunities Week (GLOW) aims to bring the SLC community together to celebrate, learn and raise awareness of various cultural perspectives from Canada and around the world. Join us for various events throughout the week and help us foster and promote our intercultural and global mindset.

Taste Of Cultures
Dive into a world of flavours and help decide the SLC favourite dish while snagging awesome prizes! Welcome to "Taste of Cultures", an incredible blend of cultures brought to you by the Global Learning Centre and Brown's.
This one-of-a-kind event happens every year across our three campuses. We're calling on all you food enthusiasts to jump in by filling out a quick form and sharing your all-time favourite recipes from back home, along with the stories that make them special. Share your culinary treasure and details right here
Once the recipes are in, the magic happens at Brown's as they whip up these delectable dishes and serve them in bite-sized portions, ready to delight the entire SLC community.
But it gets even better! Beyond just savouring the flavours, you get to play food critic and vote for your most-loved dish. The dish with the most votes might just land a spot on Brown's daily menu, a delicious tribute to the global influences we all enjoy.
