Action Learning

Action Learning is a non-traditional approach to teaching and learning where we focus on solving problems that represent a real-world challenge and simultaneously develop students' leadership skills as they think critically and work collaboratively.

St. Lawrence College is proud to partner with the World Institute for Action Learning (WIAL). WIAL is the global leading certifying body for Action Learning, providing various training and certification programs internationally. It is a rapidly growing international not-for-profit organization supported by more than 22 WIAL Affiliates around the world.

St. Lawrence College is proud to be the first Canadian College partner with WIAL. When students choose SLC, they choose not only to learn but also to learn by doing.
