Applying to the BBA Program

Applying to the Laurentian University BBA program at St. Lawrence College is easy!

Here are a few helpful tips to guide your application.

1. Determine 'who you are'....Am I coming directly out of high school? From another Ontario College diploma program, etc.?
2. Review whether you meet the requirements.
3. Apply at ontariocolleges.ca
4. If applicable you may have transcripts reviewed for transfer credit eligibility.

Requirements:

  • One grade 12 U English course;
  • One or two grade 12 U math courses;
  • Three additional grade 12 U or M courses;
  • Graduating average of 70% or better.

N.B.: Students entering with one grade 12 U math course will be required to complete a math elective in year one of the program. Students entering with two grade 12 U math courses are exempted from this requirement.

All students must complete 40 courses (120 credits) to earn the degree.

Apply through www.ontariocolleges.ca (program code 1043, level 1).

  • Graduates with GPA of 3.0 or better receive credit for 15 BBA courses (45 credits) and must complete an additional 25 courses (75 credits).
  • Graduates with GPA of 2.5-2.99 receive credit for 12 BBA courses (36 credits) and must complete an additional 28 courses (84 credits).

Apply through www.ontariocolleges.ca (program code 1043, level 3)

  • Graduates with GPA of 3.0 or better receive recognition for 24 BBA courses (72 credits) and must complete an additional 16 courses (48 credits) to earn the degree.
  • Graduates with GPA of 2.5 – 2.99 and third-year GPA of 2.4 receive credit for 20 BBA courses (60 credits) and must complete an additional 20 courses (60 credits) to earn the degree.

Apply directly through www.ontariocolleges.ca (program code 1043, level 3), Graduates of three-year diploma programs may receive up to 30 transfer credits(10 courses)

Apply directly through www.ontariocolleges.ca (program code 1043, level 1). Students transferring from another university will have transcripts assessed for transfer credits on a course-by-course basis.
