Indigenous Services Book Club
The Indigenous Services Book Club at SLC is one of many initiatives striving to incorporate Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being throughout our college community. Each month the book club chooses a new story written by an Indigenous author or ally that reflects the beauty of the culture, the challenges of communities, the resilience of Indigenous people and the Red Road to Reconciliation.
In June, the book club is reading Crow Winter by K. McBride and Indigenous Services is hosting a meeting with the author Karen McBride on June 25 from 12-1pm. Registration for this event is limited, email indigenousservices@sl.on.ca.
