SLC is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and their Education Partner Program (EPP). This new pathway for submitting applications to SLC also offers new resources and supports for our students.
The new digital platform is not only an application site, it also contains a large network of agents working in the background to help assess individual students' needs and assist them with their applications. This partnership will help increase the volume of international student applications as well as ensure each applicant is properly vetted before reaching our Admissions team for follow-up. More information.
CAPIC oversees the majority of Registered Immigration Consultants (RCICs) in Canada. RCICs provide recommendations and direct assistance with student's visa applications and immigration processes. This partnership will help SLC obtain more applications by having the consultants process applications through CAPIC directly into our OCAS IAS account and will provide students with an important resource for their immigration questions and needs.
As well, four new scholarships for international students were launched. SLC is planning to offer 100+ scholarships for fall 2021 and have already started receiving applications. More details.
