St. Lawrence College’s Student Employment Program is one of the many ways the College assists in the success of our students by enabling them to both earn money and gain valuable practical work experience while completing their studies. Up to 12 hours of work are scheduled around a student’s class times, allowing for a balance between studies and work.
With the fall semester around the corner, Belonging, Human Resources & Organizational Development (BHR&OD) have begun posting many student employment opportunities on the SLC website. If you know any qualified students who may be interested in a student employment role, please consider sharing the job posting(s). More positions will continue to be posted in the coming weeks.
"The Student Employment Program opened so many new opportunities for me when I was a student employee – I couldn’t be happier with where I am now. Whether it was meeting new members of the SLC community or bringing in new ideas to the Student Employment Program, every day presented a variety of chances to develop myself and make connections with others in my field," said Ryan Corea, an SLC student employee from 2020 to 2022 who now works as Special Projects Coordinator in BHR&OD. "I met so many fantastic people through this program and working alongside many of them has taught me so much about SLC’s community. There is a real sense of belonging to a team and having my ideas be heard and valued, and that’s something that I think everybody should get to experience."
