SLC’s Student Experience Survey launches on Monday, June 10 for students in their second semester or higher at SLC.
The survey is an excellent chance for our students to provide feedback and insight into their needs and experiences. It would be helpful if faculty could mention the survey to students in their class, as high student engagement with the survey becomes an effective tool to help change the College for the better!
Here are the top 3 things you need to know about the Student Experience Survey:
1. Students’ feedback really makes a difference!
- Filling out the survey is worth the 15 minutes it will take. This is a chance for our students to provide feedback and insight into their needs and experiences so the College can identify tangible ways to make improvements.
- It would be helpful if faculty could mention the survey to students in their class. High student engagement with the survey becomes an effective tool to help change the College for the better!
2. The survey is confidential.
- A student’s response will not and cannot affect their grades or status as a student or their student VISA.
3. Students can complete the survey online at their convenience.
Students will receive their unique survey link and instructions on June 10 via their SLC email with the subject line “Your link to the Student Experience Survey: SES2024.”
- Students should take 15 minutes to complete this survey any time between June 10 and June 21.
- There will be no dedicated class time for students to complete the survey.
- The survey can be revisited if a student can’t complete it all at once.
- The survey URL will be sent by email on June 10, followed by reminder emails sent only to those who have not completed the survey. If a student cannot find the email that contains their unique URL, using SES2024 as a search term can make it easier to find the email in their SLC inbox.
If students have technical difficulties, they should reply to the email or email SLCsurvey@sl.on.ca. If students require accessibility support to complete this survey, please contact accessibility@sl.on.ca.
