Student Finds Housing and Friendship Through SpacesShared

Finding safe and affordable housing is one of the most pressing challenges international students face when transitioning to life in a new country. For many, navigating this process can feel overwhelming. One international student recently shared how two key resources proved invaluable in making his housing journey much smoother. 

"The Off-Campus Housing Department and SpacesShared have been invaluable resources in my journey as an international student. The process was seamless, and the support I received made finding housing stress free," shared the student, Glenn, who has now settled into a shared living situation with a local host.  

"Living with my host, Jane, has not only provided me with a safe and affordable place to call home but has also enriched my experience through meaningful connections and learning opportunities," he added." "For me, this service was a lifeline - it helped me navigate the challenges of securing housing and connected me with a host who has become both a mentor and a friend."
