St. Lawrence College is thrilled to announce that its 2024 United Way fundraising campaign has achieved an incredible milestone, raising $16,474.00—a 5-year high! This remarkable achievement reflects the generosity and dedication of the SLC community, whose support will contribute to vital programs addressing food security, mental health, and homelessness across our three campuses and our local communities.
This success is part of the broader United Way campaign, which raised an unprecedented $4,050,000 for Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox, and Addington this year. By surpassing the $4 million mark, the United Way KFL&A and its partners will continue to empower local agencies to deliver essential services to those in need. St. Lawrence College is proud to play a part in this collective effort, demonstrating the impact of teamwork and community spirit.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the SLC United Way campaign team for their exceptional hard work and creativity in organizing this year’s initiatives. Their dedication, commitment, and passion have inspired our community and made a lasting difference. Together, we’ve shown that by uniting for a common cause, we can create positive change.
