Thank you to all SLC community members who have participated in this year’s SLC United Way Campaign! SLC employees have been involved in several fundraising initiatives in each of our campus communities this fall, and we are grateful and proud of these efforts. Currently, we are 65% of the way to our total fundraising goal of $20,000.00.
Friday, November 15 is the final day of the SLC United Way Campaign. If you haven’t already, be sure to complete your e-pledge form before it closes. On October 28 and November 6, all SLC employees received emails from the United Way with information on how to set up or renew your e-pledge donation for 2025. You can also access your e-pledge donation form here by logging in using your sl.on.ca email. Payroll deduction is the commonly selected donation method. All donations made through the SLC United Way Campaign will be directed to the United Way serving the donor’s home campus community. Your donations are kept local and help create positive change in your community.
Over the past two weeks, we hosted the SLC United Way Guest Speaker Series. This set of three virtual events focused on important social challenges in our three communities with guest speakers from United Way funded agencies. Links to recordings of each event are listed below:
