Join SLC’s Footprint club, sustainability champions, and project participants at the SLC Imagines a Better Future art showcase on Tuesday, March 26. This term, SLC students and staff were challenged to create their vision of a more sustainable future through the visual arts, writing, poetry, and other mediums. These pieces have been submitted to the SLC Imagines a Better Future initiative which will culminate in a showcase and awards ceremony on March 26 at 11:00 am.
The event will take place in the upper concourse on the Kingston campus where submissions will be displayed. The showcase event will include an awards ceremony and light refreshments. Join us to view these submissions and take part in our ongoing conversation about a more sustainable future at SLC.

This new initiative from the sustainability team is a creative arts-focused workshop, contest, and showcase to help the community imagine a more sustainable SLC. SLC Imagines a Better Future challenges the community to use their creativity to shine a light on sustainability and how it fits into their own vision for a healthier community.
Prizes: Our judges are evaluating submissions and will determine the winners for each of the categories (writing, visual arts, poetry). Winners will be announced at the showcase on March 26, 2024.
