Pam Warren McKinnon, a 4th generation Brockvillian, has sold over 1400 original paintings. In the year 2000 she was elected to the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. In 2009, the Ottawa Watercolour Society made her an honorary fellow. This artist has been painting full time for 27 years.

I stayed in this cabin years ago in Chicoutimi and wanted to capture the light remembered. My newfound method of drawing with a brush forces me to concentrate on the present moment and feel less anxious about the world. I hope me painting creates a gentle invitation to look at the beauty that surrounds us in the everyday.
