Artist Bio
Dorothy Adlington is an award-winning Ottawa area artist specializing in Figurative Painting, Sculpture and Mark Making. She has been making art for over 45 years and always follows her intuition in whatever direction it takes her. Dorothy continues to explore the figure and Mark Making in paint, drawing, and mixed media.
CV: ART EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Dorothy received her Diploma in Fine Arts in 2009 and a Fine Arts Certificate in 1997 both with Distinction from St. Lawrence College.
She graduated from High School of Commerce -Four year Vocational Art program in 1974 Winning the most promising art student award in 1972.
Dorothy has taken many classes and workshops throughout her career. Her Greatest Influence has been from Andrea Mossop, Hugh MacKenzie and Brian Smith.
ART-RELATED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dorothy has taught several figure sculpting workshops with the focus on sculpting the head, hands and feet.
