St. Lawrence College (SLC) has confirmed that its spring/summer 2021 semester program delivery will continue as a mix of alternate delivery and in-person classes. Priority for on-campus delivery will continue to be health sciences programs and programs involving applied components such as labs and other hands-on simulations.
For students and employees who are required to be on campus for in-person delivery, SLC has public health measures in place to ensure physical distancing, including signage throughout campus, PPE where required, and health screening for people accessing their buildings.
A decision about the fall semester is yet to be confirmed. "We hope to learn more about whether it will be possible to host larger numbers on our campuses for the Fall 2021 semester in the coming months," said Glenn Vollebregt, President and CEO, St. Lawrence College. "We remain committed to providing a learning experience that equips every student to succeed, whether that is virtually or in-person. I am proud and inspired by our students, who continue to work towards achieving their academic goals and who have adapted during a global pandemic. Our faculty and staff have done an incredible job of teaching and supporting our students through this challenging time – the SLC team works together to ensure our students come first."
