Career Services offers in person hiring opportunities to connect employers with students and future graduates of the college by way of individual employer booths or in person hiring events in high-traffic campus locations. This is an effective way to fulfill your hiring needs.

St. Lawrence College is pleased to host you on campus for recruiting purposes. To assist your company in hiring SLC students and alumni, we adhere to the Canadian Association of Career Educators & Employers (CACEE) Ethical Recruitment Guidelines. Please review to determine the suitability of your booking.

Prior to your on-campus visit, we encourage you to post your opportunities on our SLC Job Board where students, alumni and the general public search for positions relevant to their program or profession. By registering on the platform, you will be the first to receive invitations to our future career events.

Do you have on-campus job fairs throughout the year?

We host a part-time job fair in the Fall which is geared towards opportunities for students to work while they are in school (8-12 hours per week). We also host the YGK job fair in the Winter which is geared towards full-time, long-term opportunities for our graduates.

Is there an employer fee for job fairs?

There is no fee for employers at our job fairs.

Are there other networking opportunities at SLC?

You can arrange for an information booth on campus or an in-person or online presentation by contacting us at

How can I connect directly with students?

Some of our program coordinators and faculty members have a direct link to students in their programs. You can find the program coordinator contact information by searching our programs (contact information at the bottom of the page), or reach out to for further assistance.

I can’t post my job on the job board; what should I do?

We apologize for any issues with posting on our job board. Please reach out to and clearly state the problem you have run into. We will work with you to quickly resolve any issues.
