SLC Shines at 2024 ONTABA Conference
On November 8th and 9th, many SLC staff, faculty, and students attended the annual Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA) Conference in Toronto. It was a conference of great topics, learning, and connecting with other members of the behaviour analytic community from all over Ontario. 
Joint Simulation Bridges Training for PSW and Paramedic Students 
A collaborative simulation exercise between the Personal Support Worker (PSW) and Paramedic programs provided students with hands-on experience in patient care and interdisciplinary teamwork. The event allowed PSW and paramedic students to practice their respective roles in a realistic, non-critical medical scenario. 
Students Build Entrepreneurial and Intercultural Skills in Limerick, Ireland 
St. Lawrence College’s long-standing partnership with the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in Limerick, Ireland provided the perfect opportunity for students to explore entrepreneurship globally.   Craig Ervine from the School of Business led a group of eight students enrolled in the GENE 7000 Entrepreneurial Thinking in the Global Context, travelling to Ireland between October 22 and November 2. This visit included a design thinking hackathon with the faculty and students at TUS, field visits to Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin, and various company visits around the City of Limerick.

The Hairstyling program at Dynamic Designs training salon is excited to share our digital transformation journey for 2024 with the implementation of two cutting-edge salon software systems – Phorest and Vish. These innovative platforms are designed to enhance both the student learning experience and the operational efficiency of the salon. Here is a closer look at how these new tools are revolutionizing the way we work and learn.
CICE Runs Campus Community Food Drive -- Donate Until Nov. 29!
The Brockville Community Integration Through Co-operative Education (CICE), class of 2026, in partnership with our St. Lawrence College Student Administrative Council (SAC) is proud to once again lead the Brockville Campus Community Food Drive.   This year’s CICE students recognize the struggles of some of the students in the SLC community and have taken the initiative to stand up and give back.
