Student Recognized at Provincial Entrepreneurship Challenge 
Business Marketing student Maria Arraya recently joined peers from across the province to take part in the Cross-College Entrepreneurship Challenge (CCEC), a fast-paced competition that brings together entrepreneurial-minded students from Ontario colleges. With only a few days to prepare, teams tackled real-world business challenges from industry partners and presented their solutions through a final video pitch to a panel of judges. 
Nursing students experience healthcare in northern communities 
Nine Bachelor of Science Nursing (BScN) students and two faculty members from Kingston, Brockville, and Cornwall recently embarked on a transformative Northern Cross-Cultural Nursing Elective in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. This immersive experience provided students with a unique opportunity to explore healthcare delivery across a range of settings, including primary care, outpatient clinics, acute care, and critical care environments at Meno Ya Win Health Centre.  
Graduating MDM Students Perform at Kingston's Broom Factory
Graduating students from Music & Digital Media recently held their year-end live performance showcase at The Broom Factory, one of Kingston's major arts hubs. Students, their families and friends, and faculty attended to support them.  Performances ranged from solo guitar and acoustic duets to diverse combinations of students playing original and cover songs in rock, alternative, jazz, and folk genres. Student Jay Eiygyun served as DJ, including a brief rave production of his own creation. 
SLC Athletics to Take Over SHAC Operations in Fall 2025 
St. Lawrence College is pleased to announce that its Athletics department will take over the operations of the Student Health and Athletics Centre (SHAC) from the YMCA on the Kingston campus effective Tuesday, September 2, 2025. This transition marks an exciting new chapter in campus recreation while maintaining important community partnerships.  
Game Programming Students Finish Semester with Arcade Showcase 
Last week, Game Programming students wrapped up their semester and capstone projects with an arcade showcase displaying the games they've worked hard on all semester. Program alumni also stopped by the showcase to ask questions, give advice to the students, and showcase their post-grad game, Tavern Builder, which you can add to your wishlist on Steam.
