Indigenous This year, the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery proudly presents "Roots and Reflections" a group exhibition showcasing the creative vision of graduating students from the Visual and Creative - Fine Arts program. Through courses Professional Practice 1 & 2, students learned how to arrange and curate the exhibition. After a jury, consisting of professional artists and alumni, the second years took the artworks selected and hung them in the gallery with assistance from the gallery curator.
This compelling exhibition features a diverse collection of works, spanning a variety of different media. Each piece reflects the artists’ dedication, personal growth, and evolving artistic voices, offering a glimpse into their own backgrounds and styles.
"Roots and Reflections" marks a significant milestone in these emerging artists' careers, encapsulating the two years they spent at St. Lawrence College. We invite the community to witness their boundless creativity and be part of this celebration of art, identity, and reflection.
